I really stink at this blogging thing. I do good for a while then before I know it it’s been a week since I’ve posted a blog. Oh well, at least I try. I want to share with you a quote I heard this week. I’m not sure actually where it came from or who said but it is thought provoking…at least for me. Here goes: “We are often educated beyond our obedience.” So what do you think? What do you think the author of this little quote meant by what he said? He is speaking of Christians is my understanding.

the word beyond means past , later than, or on the other side so my guess would be that this author is saying that as christians, since this is who he refers to, we should trust god and be obedient to him and there will be a lesson learned.

I think his comment means, we are educated far beyond what we can commit to being obedient to. There are to many things in this world and of this world that we choose over obedience.

I think maybe , we as christians try to understand more clearly through acquiring more knowledge about him. Who is IS and how he relates to mankind. we try to understand his toughts, his ways. But as the bible states HIS ways are not OUR ways. It simply takes in us a child like faith and obedience to worship him, then i turn he helps us understand HIs ways more clearly?

That comment is so true! I try to over analize based on what I KNOW before simply being obedient. I’m reminded to keep the faith of a child! thanks for the post! Praying for u!
